7 Day Executive Protection Course

Executive Protection

Duration: 7 days

This course will cover the full range of the basic principles of executive protection. The training days will last beyond 8 hours, and some training will last until the late evening hours. This course includes weapons training and driver training. The course serves as a basic EP course and a refresher course.

Prerequisites

Valid Driver’s License. Clear background check.

Gear Requirement

ANSI rated sunglasses

Rain/weather gear

Business casual clothing (with sports coat)

Clothing appropriate for open hand combative training

T-shirts (to wear under long sleeve and short sleeve shirts)

Long/short sleeve button down, untucked, squared hem (5-11/KUHL/Columbia type)

Comfortable pants (5-11/KUHL/Columbia type)

Sturdy dress belt

Sturdy regular belt

Note taking gear

Water bottle

Ear and Eye protection

Laptop, thumb drive (recommended for planning and final exercise)

Method

The course is presented in a combination of classroom theory, practical applications, and live-fire applications.

Notes

This course includes lodging but does not include meals. A dining facility is available on-site and is pay as you go. The cost does not include travel to or from ACADEMI Training site.
