It’s in our core and it’s the right thing to do. We serve our nation and its citizens every day. The majority of our employees are veterans of the military or law enforcement. We’re a company that focuses on securing and protecting people. It’s what we’re about – it’s in our DNA. Through employee volunteerism, charitable contributions and board involvement, our philanthropic efforts support causes passionate to our employees, including veteran initiatives, health and human services, and education.
Participating on Boards is key to helping shape and advance the mission of nonprofits. Our board involvement includes DC Police Foundation (COO), senior leaders in US Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund, United Way, Aiken Technical College, American Red Cross, Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, SRS Heritage Foundation and a lead role for Jill’s House.
We are committed to strengthening communities by dedicating our time and talent to serve our veterans. Constellis partners with HAVA to host a Family Day for disabled military veterans and their families at our 3,600-acre Moyock, NC, flagship training facility. Veterans and their families received gift bags and participated in various activities, including exhibitions, range shooting time, urban tactics training simulations and youth and kids’ programs. This event is near and dear to our heart.
We strive to better the lives of our neighbors, families and friends in the places where we live and work. Our past and present efforts include local partnerships as well as national alignments that allow us to contribute positive impact in all our communities.
