Handgun ONE provides a solid foundation of pistol-shooting skills. This course is designed for shooters with little to no previous experience with the handgun. It covers gun safety, marksmanship fundamentals and core pistol manipulation.

Gear requirement
Pistol, holster, magazine pouch, 3 high-capacity magazines (15 round magazines) or 6 low-capacity magazine (10 or less round magazines), 700 rounds of ammunition, belt, wrap around ballistic eye protection, hearing protection, clothing appropriate for an outdoor range (no shorts, no open toe shoes), water bottle or hydration system.
If you do not have the required equipment/ gear, Academi can provide at an additional cost.
Method of instruction
Classroom lecture, PowerPoint presentation, practical live fire applications on the range.
Executive Protection
Duration: 7 days
This course will cover the full range of the basic principles of executive protection. The training days will last beyond 8 hours, and some training will last until the late evening hours. This course includes weapons training and driver training. The course serves as a basic EP course and a refresher course.

Notes

LAW ENFORCEMENT / MILITARY Designated Marksman Basic Course
Duration: 5 Days
This is an intensive five-day course for military and law enforcement candidates. This course is designed for individuals with minimal or no experience using a scoped firearm, and will give them a solid foundation on precision rifle skills for use within their department or unit. This is a pass/fail course that tests marksmanship abilities under a time requirement for a certificate of course completion. Students who are unable to successfully qualify will receive a certificate of attendance.

- Ear and eye protection
- Backpack or equipment bag
